On the playground with my kids, and they jump on and off things right side up, upside down, like they are floating in the pool. “Mommy, mommy, you do it!”.
“What if I fell?”, I think. Well, what if I did?! I would stuff my pride back in my pocket and gracefully pick myself up and say, “It is okay to fall, everyone falls.” I keep posting a lot lately about taking time off and balancing things. More and more it is apparent how much a change in routine and scenery reboots my perspective.
I am getting it…Nothing will change if nothing changes. I have to do things that risk falling in order to not fall deep into complacency! Or like my (almost) 4 year old says, “That is boring!”
